The EQC is the first Mercedes-Benz electric car launched under their new EQ brand.
The Mercedes Benz EQC import has an elegant and unique ‘electric’ avant-garde look with its seamless and clear design.
The car design is minimalist whilst still conveying the luxury feel typical to Mercedes-Benz cars.
The EQC import can be positioned between an SUV and SUV Coupe with its large proportions, generous roofline and window layout, and with its low waistline and coupe-like roof recess.
The new Mercedes-Benz EQC import benefits from a driving range of more than 450km. And with the Wallbox, it will take about 40 minutes for the battery to be charged from 10 - 80 per cent.
With the EQ optimised navigation, drivers will also have the possibility to find easily charging station thanks to ‘Mercedes me Charge’.
It also offers five driving modes; COMFORT, ECO, MAX RANGE, SPORT and an individually adaptable program.
Not surprising for an Electric Vehicle, the interior of the car is extremely quiet.
It is also full of innovative functions and security features.
One particular feature is the ECO Assist that will send key information to the driver such as suggesting to come off the accelerator because the car is approaching a speed limit.
Drivers will also be pleased with the pre-entry climate control that will adjust the interior temperature based on the weather and also based on the journey entered in the navigation system.
With the help of various sensors, the Mercedes EQC will recognise when there are critical driving situations in advance and will initiate preventive measures to avoid an accident.
Mercedes-Benz has been thinking about any eventuality in case of a crash with their new electric vehicle.
The high-voltage engine can become problematic in case of an accident, therefore, Audi has installed a system that will shut it down completely without the option to turn it on again without a repair in order to prevent any residual voltage that could cause injury.
For example, automatically close side windows or sunroofs to limit damages in the case of a crash.
