4. Secure Payment and Collection: Once you've selected your vehicle, we'll issue an invoice and reserve the car with the dealer. We'll handle all aspects of the purchase in the UK, ensuring a smooth transaction for you.
5. QISJ Inspection: To comply with the Tanzania Bureau of Standards (TBS) requirements, your vehicle will undergo a roadworthiness inspection with QISJ. This quick process ensures your vehicle meets all Tanzanian regulations and standards before it is shipped.
6. Sea Freight & Delivery to You: Vessels depart from the UK to Tanzania every 1-2 weeks, with the sea journey taking approximately 30 days. Once the car arrives at Dar es Salaam (TZDAR), we can arrange for it to be delivered to your desired location in Tanzania, providing you with a seamless experience from start to finish.

How will my vehicle be shipped? 

We offer several shipping options to suit your needs: 20-foot or 40-foot container shipping, and, if necessary, air freight.

What Paperwork will I need for customs?

We will provide all the necessary paperwork for Tanzanian customs, including the sales invoice, Bill of Lading, V5 Logbook and QISJ certificate. 

Any loose items, including the manufacturer's bookpack, spare keys, headphones etc will be shipped directly to you via DHL. Additionally, we'll send you a full set of photos of your car, including loading photos once it's been collected. 

How long will it take for my car to be delivered? 

Once your car is fully paid for, it typically takes about 1 week for delivery to the UK departure port. The sea journey from the UK to Tanzania usually takes around 30 days. 

Will I have to deal with the UK VAT reclaim?

No, we will manage the VAT reclaim process on your behalf. 

What is included in the vehicle export quote?

Our quotes always include comprehensive UK insurance, transport from the UK supplier to the UK port, container shipping and full marine insurance while the car is in our care. 

Can you assist with clearing customs in Tanzania once the car arrives?

Yes, we have a local agent in Tanzania who can handle the customs-clearing process for you, ensuring a hassle-free experience. If you prefer, we can also arrange transport to your desired location with our door-to-door service.
