The fifth iteration of Land Rover’s most coveted luxury lifestyle SUV will finally be released in 2022. Range Rover (MY 2022) defines modern luxury through its Model Year 2022 flagship model fleet.  

Range Rovers have always offered vast scope for personalisation and the new Range Rover 2022 is no different. The driver is at the heart of the vehicle’s design. The SUV import will be available in 8 variants: three Petrols, three Diesels and 2 Plug-in Hybrids (PHEV), the most powerful being the V8 P530 petrol variant. On release, the SUV will be available in SE, HSE and Autobiography trim levels, as well as a limited ‘First Edition’ that will be available during the first production year.  

The interior of the new Range Rover 2022 is what sets it apart from other models of its type. JLR has announced that, at a drag coefficient of 0.30, the new Range Rover is the most aerodynamic luxury SUV in the world. The car has a multitude of noise-cancelling features, which include 35 interior speakers, 60mm diameter speakers embedded in the headrest and the Active Noise Cancellation system. The system closely examines tyre noise and wheel vibrations and counteracts them by sending opposite frequency sounds through the car’s speakers.  

The cabin benefits from an advanced air filtration system, which cleans the air, removing allergens and other pathogens, such as bacteria and viruses. The interior colour and textile options also contribute to creating a luxurious cabin experience. An outstanding feature of the dashboard is the 13.1-inch touchscreen. The Pivi Pro infotainment system will give passengers access to the vehicle’s main functions. The screen will provide haptic feedback to the driver, allowing for easy navigation and an overall safer and more pleasant driving experience.  

Technology enthusiasts can opt to add the Rear Seat Entertainment System, complete with two adjustable 11.4-inch touchscreens mounted on the backs of the front seats.
